Ocular Tissue for Research

For over 30 years, VisionGift has procured and provided tissue for ocular research. Through close collaborations with academic and industry researchers, the gifts of ocular tissue from generous eye, tissue, and organ donors have been utilized to advance vision research.

In additional to ocular tissue with no pathology, VG staff can screen potential donors for specific medical conditions for research studies ranging from the characterization of disease etiology to examining potential treatments. In addition, we can provide serological testing when needed. See below for the diverse array of ocular research tissues VG has helped procured for past projects. How can we can help with your future research endeavors?
